In 2000, the Coco Work Department was established within the Ueda Carpet
Factory Co., Ltd. In April 2004, the company reorganized its business organization
into the Ueda Group and affiliated companies.
The Coco Work Department emerged as Ueda Environmental Solutions Co., Ltd.
(UES), applying their many years of experience and expertise in working
with natural materials and entered the environmental business. Committed
to the potential of the coconut palm tree, the new company worked tirelessly
to research and develop products that benefit the environment. The fruits
of this effort are apparent today from UES’ many products and the great
number of people they benefit.
