Activated Carbon Sponge

Item No.
SPG
Activated carbon nonwoven fabric filter

Simple Setup, High-Efficiency Biofiltration

SPG is a biofiltration media made by supporting high-surface-area coconut shell activated carbon on a polyurethane foam base. Designed primarily for wastewater treatment, its three-dimensional porous structure promotes efficient microbial attachment and growth, enabling the effective removal of organic pollutants such as BOD and COD. It is also well-suited for small-scale facilities thanks to its ease of use—simply place it into the treatment tank without the need for additional equipment.

High-Density Microbial Attachment
The open, porous 3D structure and large surface area support strong microbial colonization and biofilm formation.
Excellent Adsorption and Treatment Efficiency
Activated carbon adsorbs organic and toxic substances, reducing their harmful effects. Combines biological reactions with physical adsorption for high purification performance.
Easy to Use
No complex equipment or plumbing is required—simply place the media directly into the treatment basin.
